This 8-course certificate program is designed to provide learners with the foundational knowledge and practical skills required to pursue a career in cybersecurity. Learners will be introduced to the field of cybersecurity and will explore some of the common areas and concepts used in the industry. Topics covered include cryptography, network security, identity and access management, threats and vulnerabilities, web security, cloud security, and security operations.

Learners will also have the opportunity to work on hands-on labs and projects and engage with a community of peers in cybersecurity. By the end of the curriculum, learners will have a solid understanding of the foundational concepts and practical skills required to pursue a career in cybersecurity. By the end of the course, learners will achieve the Google Cybersecurity Professional certification. Upon successful course completion, learners will be equipped to pursue various roles such as Information Security Analyst or Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst.
